Huevos Rancheros Burrito
Conventional Oven Preparation
Ingredients
- Favorite Las Campanas Burritos or Chimichangas (1 package)
- Ranchero Sauce or Salsa (8.25 oz. jar)
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese (4 oz.)
- Egg, fried (6)
Directions
- PREHEAT the oven to 375°F
- Place the burritos is a 9×13” baking dish
- Top with ranchero sauce or salsa and then sprinkle with cheddar cheese
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the burritos are hot
- While the burritos are baking, fry the eggs to desired doneness
- Remove the burritos from the oven, top with eggs and serve
- Accompany with rice and beans
Microwave Preparation
Ingredients
- Favorite Tina’s Burrito or Chimichanga (1-2)
- Ranchero Sauce or Salsa (8.25 oz. jar)
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese (1 oz.)
- Egg, fried (1)
Directions
- Remove burrito from wrapper and place on a microwave safe plate
- Top the burrito with desired amount of ranchero sauce or salsa and top with cheddar cheese
- Place in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until hot
- Fry the egg to desired doneness and serve on top of the burrito
